Olivier Delacroix SEASON 2023 - 2024 05:00, April 9, 2024

Olivier Delacroix goes to meet Sofia. This young woman was the victim of “revenge porn”. She agreed to tell her story in this episode of the podcast “Dans les yeux d’Olivier” produced by Europe 1 Studio. Sofia is 28 years old when she falls madly in love with a man. Their relationship is passionate but after a few months, this boyfriend turns out to be very manipulative. During sex, the man films Sofia with his cell phone without even asking her permission. When she discovers the videos, the young woman is very shocked but the man still manages to convince her to do it again. After a year and a half of relationship, Sofia decides to break up. The man then becomes mad with rage and decides to take revenge. He broadcasts videos of their antics to everyone around Sofia: her parents, her friends, her work colleagues and even on pornographic sites. A crime called “revenge porn”. Some time later, he posts videos again, this time on pornographic dating sites with Sofia's address and phone number. An action which will earn the young woman a visit from men to her home. In danger and insecurity, Sofia gradually sinks into great suffering. In total, 150 fake Facebook profiles with sexual images of her were created and thousands of pornographic images were distributed on the Internet. For two years, Sofia spent her time monitoring and reporting these accounts. She no longer sleeps and loses around ten kilos. A situation that dangerously affects his health and harms his romantic relationships. In addition, the complaint she filed with the gendarmerie was unsuccessful. His lawyer then decided to contact the senior investigating judge. Sofia is finally recognized as a victim but her ex-boyfriend will not be convicted. In this episode of the podcast “Dans les yeux d’Olivier” produced by Europe 1 Studio, Sofia talks about its history and its reconstruction.
