Regarding the government's goal of breaking away from deflation, Minister of State for Economic Revitalization Shindo stated in a press conference after the Cabinet meeting on the 9th that a comprehensive judgment will be made based on factors such as whether sustainable economic growth has been achieved. Regarding the decision to break out of deflation, Shindo, the Minister in charge of Economic Revitalization, said, ``Our goal is to achieve sustained, strong economic growth led by private demand without returning to deflation.We will consider this comprehensively from a wide range of angles.'' said.



He went on to say, ``When we say we have broken out of deflation, it is only at that point that we want to take proper measures to show what kind of world we will have after that.We also want to prepare the environment.'' He also expressed his intention to consider policies for the future economy.



Regarding the series of high-level wage increases that occurred during this year's spring labor unions, he said, ``We need to spread the wage increases and reach households.It will take several months for the results of the spring labor labor unions to actually be reflected in salaries.'' There are some issues, so I'd like to keep a close eye on it."
