Antonov: Kyiv cannot be allowed to allow a radiation disaster to occur

This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, commenting on the statements of representatives of the American administration in connection with the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

According to the diplomat, even nuclear terrorism is perceived in Washington “as a good thing” if it is directed against Russia.

“Encouraging Zelensky’s criminal regime is akin to walking on the edge of a knife,” TASS quotes Antonov.

On April 7, Ukrainian troops fired at the dome of the sixth power unit of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant in Energodar.

Later, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was close to a nuclear accident due to the drone attack.
