Russian military “Drone attack on Zaporizhia nuclear power plant”

On the 8th, Russia claimed on the SNS of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in southern Ukraine, which it continues to occupy, that there had been an attack by a Ukrainian military drone, and that debris had fallen on the roof of Unit 6.

Russia's state-run nuclear power company Rosatom announced that the Ukrainian military attacked the roof of reactor No. 6 at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on the 7th, injuring three people.

There was no significant damage to any of the facilities, and there was no change in radiation levels in the nuclear power plant and surrounding areas.

Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on the 8th, saying, ``Ukraine, supported by the West, has embarked on a path of nuclear terrorism. We will identify and prosecute those responsible for the attack.''

In response, the Ukrainian government's Center for Combating Disinformation claimed on social media on the 8th, ``Russia attacked the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with drones and is pretending that the threat to the safety of the nuclear power plant is coming from Ukraine.'' However, the two sides are in direct conflict with each other, claiming that it was Russia's own production.

Azov Brigade reveals Russian tanks captured in eastern Ukraine

On the 8th, Ukrainian troops, who are continuing to fight against the Russian army in eastern Ukraine, released to the media a Russian military tank that they had captured in a drone attack.

What was unveiled in the capital, Kiiv, was a Russian military tank ``T72'' captured by the Azov Brigade, a unit under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on the front line in the eastern Donetsk region. According to the Azov Brigade, when Russian forces advanced with 11 tanks and other vehicles earlier this month, they launched an attack with drones and artillery fire, destroying most of them.

Video footage provided by the Azov Brigade shows that one of the tanks was unable to move after colliding with the armored vehicle in front of it, and the soldiers inside were seen escaping. The tank has minimal damage and will be repaired on the Ukrainian side and ready for use on the front lines within a month.

The aircraft used in this attack was an unmanned aircraft with a feature called FPV, which can be operated while viewing images, and emphasized that the use of unmanned aircraft was successful despite shortages of ammunition and other supplies. It's the shape.

However, the number of attacks by the Russian side in eastern Ukraine has increased to five or six times a day recently, twice as many as during the winter season, and a soldier in his 20s from the Azov Brigade said, ``The Russian side "They attack us frequently. They start with infantry, attack with all kinds of means, including tanks and artillery," he said, describing the harsh situation.
