Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (French)

The hashtag #Umm_Adham massacre topped the trending list in Sudan, coinciding with Sudanese organizations accusing the Rapid Support Forces of committing a massacre against the people of the village of Umm Adham in Gezira State.

The Preliminary Committee of the Doctors Syndicate said that 28 people were killed and 240 others were injured in the village of Umm Adham, in Al-Hasahisa locality, in Al-Jazeera state in central Sudan, in an attack launched by the Rapid Support Forces on Saturday.

The Umm Adham Resistance Committees page wrote on Facebook, saying that what it described as the Rapid Support Forces militia invaded the village on Saturday afternoon with a huge force estimated at 200 individuals, combat vehicles and full military equipment to commit violations and theft, so the villagers confronted them with their limited capabilities amidst unequal forces.

The Civil Resistance Committees issued an urgent call for help, asking citizens and medical personnel present in the Al-Manaqil area and its surroundings to go immediately to Al-Manaqil Hospital, as there is an acute shortage in the hospital of medical staff, medicines, and workers after the influx of large numbers of wounded who came from the Umm Adham area in the Hasahisa countryside.

With the spread of news and testimonies written by some people of the region on social media platforms, a state of anger and shock prevailed among the tweeters. They said that the Rapid Support Forces attacked the people of the village of Umm Adham to loot and kill, demanding that light be shed on what they described as brutal crimes against the people of Al-Jazira State.

🛑 The citizens of the village of Umm Adham, despite the lack of capacity, repelled the Janjaweed. They came out to them with swords, knives, and crutches, defending their honor, their families, and their homes with all hot blood and a strong eye. There were many injuries on their part, and they were in dire need of blood in Al-Manaqil Hospital.

Tweeters asked, "Their arrogance and excessive killing has reached the point where they storm a village just to steal it? And when its people defend their land and honor, they kill them."

- Their arrogance and extravagance in killing reached such an extent that they attacked the village of Sanduq just to steal it!

- The pillar killed more than twenty martyrs in the village of Umm Adham and entered it as a full battle with all their equipment, but to resist the theft.

- The support hospital sent more than 200 injured people. As much as they could reach Al-Manaqil Hospital, they would donate, speeding up the situation. Severe heel.

Others demanded not to forget what is happening in Sudan and to shed light on the events there because there are crimes and massacres being committed by the Rapid Support Militia, and the world and the media are marginalizing what is happening in the country.

Do not forget Sudan, crimes are still being committed by the Rapid Support Militia, and the world and the media are marginalizing what is happening in Sudan!!

The #Umm_Adham massacre was committed in the state of Jazira, killing at least 28 and wounding more than 240!!

Bloggers demanded that all these crimes be documented and preserved for submission to the International Criminal Court, and that those who committed them be held accountable after the war in Sudan stopped.

#Umm_Adam massacre: Peaceful people attacked by the militia to loot them. May God have mercy on the martyrs and heal the injured. There is no power but from God.

Be their voice, and shed light on these horrific crimes. Do not let the chorus of lowly people distract us from making nylon bags to distract from the masses of our people. #Rapid_Support_Crimes

On the other hand, Al-Basha Tabiq, advisor to the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, rejected this claim and said that the support forces are chasing criminals and besieging what he described as heinous acts.

Tabiq added to Al Jazeera Mubasher that those who issue these statements are not the resistance committees, and the committees must go out in a public conference so that the Sudanese people know who is issuing these statements, indicating that those who carry out these actions are described as extremist Islamic groups run by Sudanese intelligence and accusing the Rapid Support Forces.

Did the Rapid Support Forces attack the village of Umm Azam in Al-Jazeera State?
