This was announced by the Swiss Federal Council, TASS reports.

As the Swiss government noted, this equipment is intended for the Strategic Reserve Forces, which from April will strengthen the EU mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina EUFOR Althea.

Switzerland also added that no special permission was required for such transit, since Bern is participating in efforts to promote peace in BiH.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the issue of increasing the supply of ammunition, drones and air defense systems to Ukraine.

Also, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said that Austria will remain a neutral state militarily, despite the increase in the defense budget.
