It is reported that the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, heard the latest results of the investigation into the terrorist attack at Crocus.

“Work continues with victims and witnesses, the identities of those killed as a result of the terrorist attack are being established,” the Investigative Committee reports.

Currently, eleven persons involved in the crime have been identified in the criminal case. They have been charged and taken into custody.

The investigation also received “significant information” about the circumstances of the terrorists’ preparation for the crime, which may indicate their connection with the Ukrainian special services.

Previously, a criminal case under the article of negligence was opened against the person responsible for fire safety at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the editorial offices of leading Western media are following instructions to put on the agenda their own version of the events surrounding the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. In particular, they do not highlight the true scale of the tragedy and do not mention the number of victims of the terrorist attack.
