The Israeli army announced its "preparedness to move from defense to attack" in its confrontation with Hezbollah across the Lebanese border, while the party announced the killing of one of its members in battles with Israel.

The Israeli army stated, in a statement published on its website yesterday, Sunday, that “during the last days, another stage of the Northern Command’s preparations for the war was completed.”

He explained that logistical measures allow "the immediate recruitment of reserve forces in case of emergency and their arrival to the front line within a short period with all the necessary equipment for combat."

The army statement noted that "commanders of regular and reserve units are ready to summon and provide all required fighters with equipment within just a few hours, then transfer them to the front line to perform defensive and offensive tasks."

In conjunction with the Israeli aggression on Gaza, there is an almost daily exchange of bombing across the Lebanese-Israeli border between Hezbollah and the Israeli army.

On Sunday morning, Israel launched air strikes on the Bekaa Governorate in eastern Lebanon, according to a source close to Hezbollah, while the Israeli army confirmed the bombing of the party’s positions hours after an Israeli drone was shot down in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army spokesman announced the launch of raids on what he said was a military complex that included 7 buildings for the Radwan Force, affiliated with Hezbollah, in the Khiam area in southern Lebanon.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced the killing of one of its members in battles on the southern border, and reported that the dead man was named Abdel Amir Hassan Halawi - Ali Al-Rida (48 years old) from the town of Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon, without further details about the circumstances and place of his death.

Since the beginning of the mutual bombing, at least 359 people have been killed in Lebanon, including 236 Hezbollah members and 70 civilians, according to a tally by Agence France-Presse.

On the other hand, 10 soldiers and 8 civilians were killed on the Israeli side by fire originating in Lebanon, according to the Israeli army.
