This was stated at a meeting of the General Assembly by China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dai Bin.
“China supports Palestine to become a full member of the UN,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
He noted that Palestine has asked the Security Council to resume consideration of its application for membership and China supports prompt action by the Security Council on this issue.
Earlier, Russia's first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said that Russia calls on all members of the international community to support Palestine's application for membership in the UN.
