Balata and Tulkarm camps in the northern West Bank witnessed armed clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces, which carried out raids into several cities and towns and arrested dozens.

Armed clashes broke out in Balata, Nablus, with the start of the Israeli incursion into the camp before dawn today.

For its part, the Palestinian Al-Aqsa Channel said that armed clashes in Balata are still continuing this morning, noting that the occupation forces deployed snipers in several buildings in the camp.

Israeli forces, reinforced with vehicles and bulldozers, stormed several neighborhoods in Balata camp, which led to the outbreak of clashes with resistance fighters, which included throwing explosive devices at the invading forces.

Also in the northern West Bank, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported armed clashes and explosions at the main entrance to the Tulkarm camp after Israeli forces stormed it.

The reporter said that this coincided with an intense flight of reconnaissance aircraft over the city.

During the storming, occupation bulldozers destroyed roads and infrastructure in various parts of the city of Tulkarm and the camp of the same name.

For its part, the Tulkarm Brigade, affiliated with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that its fighters clashed with the occupation forces in several areas and set up ambushes for them.

The Tulkarm Battalion added that it had confirmed casualties among the forces storming the camp.

Storms and arrests

Also before dawn today, Israeli forces stormed the city of "Dawar" south of Hebron, and Al Jazeera correspondent Montaser Nassar reported that the storming forces raided many homes in an operation that took several hours before they withdrew from them.

Nassar said that the roundabout had not witnessed an incursion of this size for some time, noting that Israeli forces arrested 20 Palestinians.

During the operation, Israeli soldiers stormed the house of the martyr, Moamen Al-Masalmeh, who carried out an operation that took place a few days ago, which resulted in the death of an Israeli and the serious injury of two people, and they arrested a number of his relatives.

Al Jazeera's correspondent stated that confrontations broke out in a roundabout between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces.

To the north of Hebron, Israeli forces stormed the Arroub camp and launched an arrest campaign that targeted a number of Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, and the town of Beit Ummar, arrested two young men, and carried out extensive raids and searches in the place.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club said that the occupation forces arrested 15 people, including former prisoners Layan Nasser and Layan Kayed, in addition to a child and former prisoners, adding that the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Hebron, occupied Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jenin.

Constant pursuit

Meanwhile, since yesterday morning, Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces have continued searching operations in several villages northeast of the city of Qalqilya for the perpetrator of the armed attack near the towns of Azzun and “Al-Nabi Elias,” which led to the injury of an Israeli settler and a female soldier.

The occupation forces stormed the villages of Jayyous, Al-Nabi Elias, Ezbet Al-Tabib, and Azzun.

They also closed the villages with dirt barriers and military checkpoints, and raided dozens of homes to remove surveillance cameras in order to reach the perpetrator of the operation.
