NHK conducted a public opinion poll for three days from April 5th using a method called ``RDD'' targeting people aged 18 and over across the country by calling randomly generated landline and mobile phone numbers on a computer. .



The survey targeted 2,366 people and received responses from 1,204 people, or 51%.

When asked how they evaluate the Bank of Japan's decision to end its negative interest rate policy and raise interest rates for the first time in 17 years in March, 11% said they ``strongly appreciated'' it, 49% said ``somewhat'' and 49% said ``not much.'' 22% said they did not evaluate it, and 7% said they did not evaluate it at all.

When asked whether they had high expectations for this, 6% said they had "high expectations," 23% said they had "some expectations," 37% said they had "not very high expectations," and 28% said "not at all."
