“The visa system for citizens of Tajikistan will be introduced by Turkey from April 20, 2024,” the statement said.
It is clarified that Ankara officially informed Dushanbe about this through diplomatic channels.
Earlier, Türkiye canceled visa-free entry for citizens of Tajikistan.
Later, official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Shokhin Samadi said that the country's authorities are considering the issue of introducing a visa regime for Turkish citizens.
