“Due to the abnormal flood, in order to avoid environmental risks and to comply with safety regulations... the work of the Orsk Oil Refinery has been temporarily suspended,” the plant’s press service told RIA Novosti.

The water level in the Ural River near Orenburg increased by 28 cm per day, 1,784 areas and 1,347 households were flooded. 428 people were evacuated, including 27 children. There are six people in temporary accommodation centers, one of them is a child.
