This is stated in the bill; its concept was discussed at the working group on legislative regulation of the use of SIM. It was attended by deputies, representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and business, TASS reports.
“To implement state control mechanisms for the movement of SIM, it is proposed to place a unique SIM registration number directly on such a vehicle,” the document says.
If the relevant bill is approved, it is expected that it will come into force on March 1, 2025.
Earlier it was reported that over the year the number of Russians supporting restrictions on SIM increased to 59%.
