The emotion still palpable. A 15-year-old teenager died this Friday following a lynching outside his college in Viry-Châtillon, in Essonne. Transported yesterday to Necker hospital, the victim was operated on during the night from Thursday to Friday, but she did not survive. This 15-year-old boy was very violently beaten as he left the establishment by three hooded young people who fled. Europe 1 was on site, in front of the college where the teenager was educated.

Around the college, the atmosphere is heavy. At the exit, students come out crying, others hug each other, visibly upset after the announcement of the death of their classmate. “It makes me feel like a lump in my stomach, now I'm afraid to go home alone. Now, we live in a world where we can get hit or even killed for no reason,” says Khaled, a student who lived in the same neighborhood as the victim. “To die at this age and in this way is not normal, it really hurts my heart,” he adds.
