“As of April 6, due to active snowmelt and rising river levels as a result of spillways in the region, 2,556 residential buildings and 6,886 household plots were flooded. There are 29 municipalities in 102 settlements and nine SNTs on the territory,” TASS quotes the statement.

It is specified that 4,208 people were evacuated, including 1,019 children, of which 427 people, including 132 children, were placed in temporary temporary detention centers.

Earlier, the head of Orsk, Vasily Kozupitsa, said that in some places in the Orenburg region the water rose by almost 4 m.

According to him, the situation with flooding in Orsk is rapidly developing for the worse.
