The Palestinian resistance said on Friday that it had engaged in fierce clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Khan Yunis in Gaza, causing certain casualties, while the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the Israeli occupation army had committed five massacres during the last 24 hours.

The Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - said that its fighters confirmed, after their return from the clash points in Khan Yunis, that they had bombarded enemy gatherings with mortar shells in the areas of advance in the center of the city. They also assigned a fighting group from the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). - During fierce clashes with an Israeli force, they caused certain injuries before they all withdrew safely. A number of injured people were transferred to the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis.

This comes as the occupation army continues its war on Gaza for the 182nd day, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing amid a humanitarian situation described as catastrophic and a worsening famine looming over this besieged sector.
