The Argentine Justice ordered this Friday to reopen an investigation into the responsibilities of the

Nicolás Maduro

regime in crimes "against humanity."

"It is appropriate to assume the universal jurisdiction and extraterritorial jurisdiction of the judicial bodies of the Argentine Republic for due judgment," said judges

Leopoldo Bruglia, Pablo Bertuzzi and Mariano Llorens,

members of the

Federal Chamber of Buenos Aires.

The ruling refers to crimes of "extreme seriousness" that require action without "delay or delay" to counterbalance what it defines as "criminal actions" of the Venezuelan regime.

Among those accused -subject to investigation- by the Argentine Justice Department are "Nicolás Maduro Moros,

Diosdado Cabello

and all those identified as responsible (...) for the serious violations of human rights and crimes against humanity."

With the decision of the appeal court, the case returns to the hands of Judge

Sebastián Ramos.
