37 victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall remain in Moscow hospitals, said Anastasia Rakova, deputy mayor of the capital for social development.

“Today, only 37 patients remain in the capital’s hospitals, only three of them are in serious condition,” the Telegram channel of the Moscow social complex quotes her as saying.

According to Rakova, on the night after the terrorist attack, 85 patients were taken to the capital’s hospitals, and 13 people were taken to federal hospitals.

“We transferred nine more Muscovites from hospitals in the Moscow region in extremely serious condition to our hospitals with the help of air ambulances the next day. The air ambulance played a big role in organizing the evacuation of the victims. Thanks to the fact that the helicopters flew in and out without stopping the engine, we were able to evacuate seven people. These were the most difficult patients, and every second counted,” she added in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Along with this, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region reported that in ten days after the terrorist attack, the Moscow Region Blood Center prepared 3.7 tons of blood and its components - this is almost 2.5 times more than usual for such a period.

In total, as a result of the shooting and subsequent fire at Crocus on March 22, 144 people were killed and another 551 were injured.

Investigation

On Friday, April 5, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin held an operational meeting on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of a terrorist act in Krasnogorsk.

He was informed about the work being done in various areas. In particular, investigative actions with those involved in the criminal case continue. Testimony obtained during interrogations is also verified. They are compared taking into account other data recorded during the investigation.

In addition, employees of the Forensic Center study items seized as evidence, including electronic media, in order to identify and record information significant for the investigation. In addition, expert research is being conducted.

In addition, Bastrykin instructed to take all measures to detain those involved in the terrorist attack. We are talking about the perpetrators, organizers of the crime and their accomplices.

“The head of the department emphasized that, despite the already available data on the transfer of funds to the accused, it is necessary to establish all stages of the financing of this terrorist act,” the Investigative Committee indicated.

Also on April 5, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported receiving data from the mobile phones of those accused of committing a terrorist attack in Crocus. According to the department, the concert hall in Krasnogorsk was chosen by terrorists on the instructions of the curator.

“On the morning of February 24, 2024, that is, on the anniversary of the start of the special military operation, one of the accomplices, at the direction of the curator, found on Internet resources and sent him screenshots of images of the entrances to the Crocus City Hall building and the access roads to it. The accused confirmed all this in his testimony,” the report says.

In addition, photographs were found on the phone of one of the detained terrorists with the Ukrainian flag, coat of arms, armored vehicles and people in military uniform against the backdrop of destroyed houses, as well as a picture of a “Ukrainian postage stamp with an obscene gesture.”

“The specified data may indicate a connection between the terrorist act committed and the conduct of the SVO,” the department said.

Let us recall that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus were four natives of Tajikistan: Dalerjon Mirzoev, Rachabalizodu Saidakrami, Fariduni Shamsidin and Muhammadsobir Fayzov. During interrogations, the investigation established that the terrorists’ actions via voice messages via Telegram were coordinated by a man under a pseudonym. There is confirmed evidence that the accused received significant amounts of cash and cryptocurrency from Ukraine.
