The German Headache and Migraine Society said that the feeling of tingling in the head has many causes, the most important of which are headaches of various types, such as: cluster headaches, tension headaches, and migraines.

The association explained that the cause of a tingling feeling in the head may also lie in muscle tension in the back and neck, spinal problems, sinusitis, eye problems, dental and jaw diseases, in addition to nerve pain, for example trigeminal neuralgia.

A doctor should be consulted to determine the real reason behind the tingling feeling in the head, in order to undergo timely treatment, especially if the tingling is accompanied by other symptoms, such as: light sensitivity, vision disturbances, nausea, and vomiting.

In general, the tingling feeling in the head can be relieved by drinking enough water and relaxing, and one can also resort to analgesics such as aspirin, paracetamol, or ibuprofen.
