On November 5 last year, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Rustem Umerov, said that the country had begun an investigation into the death of fighters from the Transcarpathia brigade as a result of a missile attack in the Zaporozhye region.
At the same time, a soldier from this brigade stated in an interview with American journalists that responsibility for the deaths of more than 50 military personnel lies with the leadership of this unit.
