China News Service, Xi'an, April 4th, the first day of the year and the Qingming Festival. On April 4, the Qingming Festival Ceremony for Xuanyuan Huangdi was held at the Qiaoshan Sacrifice Square in Huangling County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province.

  At 9:50, the public memorial ceremony officially began, with more than 400 representatives from compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao, and overseas Chinese participating. The ceremony included nine rituals: everyone stood in silence, beat drums and bells, sang "Ode to the Yellow Emperor", presented flower baskets, read memorial texts, bowed three times to the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor statue, paid tribute with music and dance, the dragon flew over China, paid homage to Xuanyuan Hall and paid homage. The Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor is planted with Qiaoshan cypress.

  At the public memorial ceremony, all the participants stood in awe, beating drums and ringing bells on the spot to express the admiration and gratitude of the Chinese people for the ancestor of humanity, the Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan. After beating the drums and ringing the bells, "Ode to the Yellow Emperor" resounded throughout the audience. Subsequently, Peng Qinghua, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Jiang Zuojun, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Song Tao, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, Ma Lihuai, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee, Gao Feng, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and the Chinese Kuomintang Former Chairman Ma Ying-jeou and others presented flower baskets. Zhao Gang, the governor of Shaanxi Province, read the memorial text respectfully, and everyone bowed three times to the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor statue.

  In the grand ceremony of music and dance, a 56-meter-long "golden flying dragon" circled and leaped from the center of the altar, expressing the beautiful wishes of a prosperous dragon and blessing China.

  Afterwards, the participants paid homage to the Xuanyuan Hall and the Huangdi Mausoleum in turn. Some participants planted Qiaoshan cypresses in the cemetery, allowing the majestic Xuanyuan Hall and Cangcang Qiaoshan cypress to witness the endless Chinese civilization and gather the strength of the Chinese people to strive for progress.

  Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor is the ancestor of the Chinese nation. Since the Han Dynasty, the Chinese nation has begun to worship the Yellow Emperor. Since the 1980s, the Qingming Festival public memorial ceremony for Xuanyuan Huangdi has become an important emotional link connecting Chinese people at home and abroad.
