The occupation army leadership agrees to open an investigation into the failure of last October 7 (Israeli press)

The Israeli occupation army announced the suspension of granting leave to all its combat units, while Israeli media reported that the Army Chief of Staff approved a plan to launch an internal investigation into the failure to deal with the Al-Aqsa flood attacks on the seventh of last October.

A statement issued by the occupation army after a security assessment meeting of the situation in the region said, "According to the assessment of the situation, it was decided to temporarily suspend leave for all combat units of the Israeli Defense Forces."

The army said that Israel is in a state of war, and that the deployment of forces is subject to continuous evaluation according to needs.

In a related context, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the Army Chief of Staff approved the method of conducting internal investigations into the failure to deal with the attacks of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip on the Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip on the seventh of last October.

According to the plan, Israeli officers from the Southern Command, the Air Force, and Military Intelligence will be investigated.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation explained that the plan calls for investigating 6 team leaders who led forces in the field in the Southern Command. As for the investigation related to the Military Intelligence Division, each unit will conduct an internal investigation.
