As Volynets recalled, on February 29, 2024, Vladimir Putin, addressing the Federal Assembly, noted that constant work is needed aimed at improving the quality of life of families with children; a large large family should become the norm, the philosophy of social life, the guideline of the entire state strategy.

She added that government support measures in Russia allow the mother, if she wishes, to return to work as quickly as possible after the birth of the child.

“At the same time, a mother of many children, after the birth of her third child, who wants to devote time to caring for her children, is worried that child care will negatively affect her future pension and other social insurance benefits,” explained RT’s interlocutor.

The Children's Ombudsman considers it appropriate to take into account in the mother's insurance record the period from the birth of her third child until she reaches retirement age.

According to her, this initiative is aimed at supporting motherhood, family values and respect for the choice of parents with many children who devote themselves to raising children.

“Taking into account the above, I ask you, dear Anna Yuryevna, in defense of the rights and interests of children, to support the above initiative and to develop an appropriate bill that will lead to positive changes in the lives of large families,” the text of the appeal says.

Earlier, Volynets proposed introducing a ban on the sale of highly carbonated soft drinks containing sugar to children under 18 years of age.
