The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the suppression of new attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory on the night of April 4.

“Duty air defense systems destroyed five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Belgorod (three UAVs) and Tula (two UAVs) regions,” the department said in a statement.

Along with this, the press service of the Ministry of Regional Security of the Tula Region stated that, according to preliminary information, there was no destruction or casualties.

Russian border regions are systematically targeted by Ukrainian troops using drones and multiple launch rocket systems. Thus, according to the Ministry of Defense, on April 2, air defense systems on duty intercepted one UAV over the territory of the Belgorod region and four more aircraft over the Kursk region.

The destruction of two more UAVs over the Belgorod region was also reported on the evening of April 1.

The day before, the head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the introduction of a separate type of warning about the danger of a drone attack.

“Starting today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations divides the signal into a missile warning and a UAV signal. This signal will be transmitted depending on the warning we receive from the Ministry of Defense,” the press service of the regional government quotes Gladkov as saying.

It follows from the message that in the event of a possible threat of a drone attack, Belgorod residents will receive push notifications in the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry application and SMS messages from cellular operators.

Alerts are also provided on TV and radio channels. Sirens and loudspeakers will not be used in such cases.

Russian Foreign Ministry - about the terrorist activity of the Kyiv regime

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, during a briefing held on April 3, noted the activity of the Kyiv regime in shelling Russian territories.

She recalled that shortly before this, Kyiv staged another terrorist attack against civilians in Tatarstan. According to the data provided by Zakharova, as a result of a drone attack on college dormitory buildings in the republic, 13 people were injured, including citizens of Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

As Zakharova stated, the Kiev regime does not stop terrorist activities against the civilian population and civilian infrastructure of Russia.

“This, in fact, was publicly admitted by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, who said on March 31 during a Ukrainian telethon that “attacks on the Belgorod region are very beneficial” to Ukraine and will continue to “at least achieve limited success.” Only limited people can say this,” Zakharova emphasized.

She noted that the Kiev regime is actively using Western types of weapons to attack the residential sector and social facilities of the Belgorod region. Zakharova cited data according to which from March 29 to April 1, the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on populated areas in the region more than 100 times.

“Belgorod especially gets it. Ukrainian terrorists are deliberately targeting neighborhoods to sow panic and fear among residents. But Belgorod residents, like all Russians, cannot be broken or intimidated,” noted the Foreign Ministry representative.

She expressed confidence that “neo-Nazis of all stripes will receive a worthy response and will be destroyed.”
