“Israeli citizen Lanzman Yuval, born in 1960, a former IDF soldier, who harbored intentions to join the Ukrainian armed forces in order to participate in hostilities against the Russian Federation, was detained,” RIA Novosti quotes the department as saying.

Russian intelligence services established that the foreigner had a negative attitude towards the SVO and the policies pursued by the country’s authorities, and also sent his personal data to join anti-Russian organizations.

“Yuval was given an official warning about the inadmissibility of actions that create conditions for the commission of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of Russia,” the FSB said.

The man was taken out of the country and banned from entering Russian territory.

At the Volgograd airport, a 19-year-old young man who was transferring money for the Ukrainian Armed Forces was previously detained, and a criminal case of treason was opened.

Also, the Russian FSB detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services who was collecting information about units of the Russian Guard in the zone of a special military operation. The man was arrested.
