“The President supports the suspension of the issuance of additional LNG export licenses in order to assess the economic and climate impacts on the population,” she said.
According to Jean-Pierre, the Biden administration believes that Republicans in the House of Representatives should support the bill, which provides funding for assistance to Ukraine.
Earlier, the authorities of 16 American states filed a lawsuit against Biden's decision to suspend the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Later, Reuters stated that the United States could lift the ban on LNG exports in order to agree on assistance to Ukraine.
