  • Portugal The investigation confirms the discovery of "several objects" during the investigations into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann

New details of Madeleine McCann

's investigation

in 2007 have been revealed by 'The Sun' newspaper. According to the British media, the German federal police (BKA) are looking for evidence and/or DNA of the little girl in a van that the main suspect in the case,

Christian Brueckner

, drove when the girl disappeared in the Algarve (Portugal).

Apparently, thanks to an image published by 'The Sun' in a report, the German security forces discovered that Brueckner had rented a

white Mercedes Sprinter

van that he used when he was in the place on the days in which the disappearance occurred. .

That van, according to the image published by the British media, was located outside the place where Christian Brueckner had a house considered his '

rape house'

. There the suspect allegedly abused an elderly woman and a teenager, the latter being tied to a post.

Now, the German police are trying to find any evidence that could reactivate the high-profile case of little Madeleine, who disappeared from a resort in Praia da Luz in the Portuguese Algarve in 2007.

Brueckner, who is serving a seven-year sentence for the rape of an American tourist in

Portugal

, remains the main suspect in a crime that has been unsolved for almost 17 years.
