It is noted that women are in favor of regulating the use of scooters much more often than men (66 and 52%, respectively).

“Muscovites and St. Petersburg residents support legislative restrictions on riding scooters more actively than residents of the country as a whole: seven out of ten representatives of the economically active population of the two capitals are in favor of regulation,” the study emphasizes.

According to the survey, among the legislative restrictions that are needed most, respondents named the establishment of a maximum speed limit, the age limit of 18+ and the introduction of mandatory training in driving scooters with the issuance of an appropriate license.

In total, 1.6 thousand respondents took part in the study.
