“Under these conventions (the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism of 1999 and the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings of 1997), countries must assist each other,” she affirmed.

In her opinion, in this case, Russia needs to obtain information about financial flows that could be sent through the requested countries to the territory of our state.

“In order to obtain the necessary evidence against the organizers, customers and those who financed these terrorist acts. Of course, the assistance of law enforcement agencies of other countries is necessary. And, in particular, these countries can receive banking documentation confirming the direction of cash flows to certain persons,” Yarmush added.

Earlier, the President of the International Counter-Terrorism Training Association, international security expert Joseph Linder called the State Police’s appeal about terrorist attacks “absolutely correct actions.”

As reported, the requests relate, among other things, to undermining the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

As stated in the Prosecutor General's Office, they hope for the West to conscientiously review the relevant documents.
