Inspection campaigns in the city of Hebron (Anatolia)

Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city of Nablus in the West Bank, while they raided homes in Hebron and arrested 40 Palestinians last night.

Special forces from the occupation army stormed the Old City of Nablus this morning, penetrated it, and besieged some of its neighborhoods. Occupation snipers were also deployed on the rooftops of houses overlooking the Old City and its entrances.

In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Bani Naim, and raided the homes of the perpetrators of the “Raanana” operation, which took place two and a half months ago in Tel Aviv, and led to the death of an Israeli woman and the injury of 18. The occupation forces searched the two homes and caused major damage to their contents.

It is noteworthy that the residents of the homes of the perpetrators of the attack who are in the occupation prisons received notifications from the Israeli authorities to demolish the two homes. The two families are waiting for the decision to be implemented at any moment.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces today demolished two houses, one inhabited and the other under construction, in the town of Al-Samu, south of Hebron in the West Bank, under the pretext of building without a permit.

A large Israeli force stormed the town, accompanied by vehicles, and began demolishing the two houses without prior warning.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces stormed the central area of ​​the town of Al-Samu', set up a checkpoint, conducted a search campaign and checked citizens' identities, and confiscated 3 civilian vehicles.

Today, Tuesday, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of a young man after he was shot by Israeli army bullets in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin Governorate in the occupied West Bank, a few days ago.

On the other hand, the number of Palestinian detainees in the West Bank rose today, Tuesday, to about 7,960 detainees since last October 7.

A joint statement by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority (governmental) and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club (Ahli) stated that Israeli forces arrested at least 40 citizens from the West Bank from Monday evening until Tuesday morning, bringing the total number of arrests after October 7 to more than 7,960.

Since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the army has escalated raids and arrests in the West Bank, resulting in confrontations with Palestinians that left 456 dead and about 4,750 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
