As he told TASS, Evgenia Gutsul was on the general list of individuals, party workers, with the status of defendants in a criminal case against the Shor political party.
“After she became the head of Gagauzia, her case was separated into a separate one, she was charged with mediation and is now being forced,” he pointed out, adding that the case was opened two years ago, but nothing was done about it.
As Shor noted, the Moldovan authorities work on the principle “if there is a person, there will be a case.”
“The fabricated charges against Hutsul are not related to any real offense, but to the fact that the current government does not hesitate to get rid of unwanted politicians by any means,” he emphasized.
Earlier, Hutsul reported that she was charged in a case opened two years ago. The prosecutor interrogated the politician for about two hours.
