According to him, the development of a network of training grounds of the Russian Armed Forces and provision of troops with training facilities is one of the priority areas of the department’s work.
“If in 2012 we had no more than 100 landfills, today there are 240 of them... In particular, the construction of two landfills has been completed in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. By the end of the year, it is planned to equip five more,” Shoigu said.
He added that the new facilities have significantly improved equipment and conditions for the accommodation and work of personnel.
