Occupied Jerusalem -

The honorary corner is located in the southwestern corner of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and is used today as part of the Islamic Museum.

Director of the Islamic Museum at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Arafat Amr, talks to Al Jazeera Net about the history of the zawiya and its founding in the Mamluk era by Judge Fakhr al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Fadlallah in approximately the year 1332 AD, to be an incubator and school for Sufi pioneers.

The corner consisted of a mosque, 21 houses, a library, and agricultural land. With the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, the occupation demolished a number of the houses that belonged to it.
