The vast majority of Rwandans were born after the genocide against the Tutsis in 1994. These young people therefore created their own style and their own music. Among the prominent singers in Rwanda: Kaya Biinshy, 25, has an incredible voice. The young author, composer and performer returns from a major tour in Africa. His latest title “The Color of Blood” speaks about his identity. We take you to discover it.

In Rwanda, the kinyatrap is a hit! This is the sound of Kigali. A form of rap in the local language, mixed with trap, that young people love. One of the creators of this style is called Bushali. In a few years, he rose to the top. His fifth album "Full Moon" is released this year. With 40% of the Rwandan population still living below the poverty line, the rapper addresses young people and depicts their daily lives. We met him in his studio.

But music is not the only thriving industry in Rwanda. We discovered the first "Kigali Triennale", a cultural festival dedicated to African excellence with more than 200 artists from across the continent. The aim of this new meeting is to place Kigali on the regional and international cultural scene, but also to professionalize the art market in the country. We meet its founder, Dorcy Rugamba, but also young theater directors and fashion designers.
