Although the story can be lengthy due to the many details in it, the fast-paced episodes do not make the viewer feel bored, due to the performance of the actors, each of whom truly embodies the character, especially the star Yasser Jalal, who switches between Shahryar and Joudar bin Omar Al-Masry with great smoothness in performance that makes the viewer separate the two characters. In the story, the character of the king and the character of the popular hero that the audience always prefers, as he presented the role of Joder, the strong boy who resists injustice and does what an ordinary person cannot do, and defends the weak in the story, which prompted the audience to follow the episodes to follow the hero’s journey.

Yasmine Rais's performance in the Scheherazade scenes is characterized by lightheartedness and good pronunciation of the Arabic language, which distances her from comparisons with the old stars who played the role before.

Different sectors of the public

From the beginning, the series succeeded in attracting different segments of the audience, as it was awaited by the relatively large generations whose childhood and youth memories were linked to the series “One Thousand and One Nights” when it was broadcast over the years on Egyptian television with different heroes, especially with the use of the music of the Scheherazade Symphony by the Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, which were shown in the oldest version of the series “One Thousand and One Nights” and the one most ingrained in viewers’ memories, which is the version that starred Hussein Fahmy and Naglaa Fathi in 1984, as if the director was trying to restore memories of old scenes to emphasize the idea of nostalgia ( nostalgia).

The series was also awaited by the modern generation of audiences who had not seen the stories of One Thousand and One Nights in a dramatic work, and perhaps had not read the stories either, so “Joder” came to satisfy their curiosity about those ancient oriental tales that perhaps only their title is known about.

The power of visual effects

The details of the clothes and decor appeared convincing and far from contrived, as they depicted the magical eastern worlds, and turned every scene into an artistic painting, especially with the visual effects that were implemented with great professionalism, showing their importance in telling the story, as the visual effects resemble magic tricks that make unreal things appear real on the surface. screen to create enchanting and exciting imaginary worlds capable of attracting the audience.

A break from the drama of conflicts

The "Joder" series can be considered a break from the drama of modern conflicts that have appeared since the beginning of the month of Ramadan and a return to a quiet and distant era of time, especially with the presence of heroes such as the artist Rashwan Tawfiq, the artist Abdel Aziz Makhyoun, and Aida Riyad.

This feeling of nostalgia for the past was reinforced by the good choice of ancient Egyptian colloquial vocabulary without excess or rhythm that turns the dialogue into a vulgar lyrical dialogue.
