He suggested the corresponding hypothetical situation in response to RIA Novosti’s question about what Iran should do after the Israeli strike on the consulate in Syria.

“It would be interesting to see what would happen if Iran hypothetically attacked the American embassy in Israel. I see real fear and confusion in the eyes of the Americans,” he said.

According to him, it is strange to think that Israel can do something, but Iran cannot. Medvedev added that no matter how the American and Israeli sides treat various Iranian officials, they are officials.

“We are waiting for an answer,” Medvedev concluded.

Earlier it became known that the Israeli Air Force attacked the territory of the embassy and the residence of the Iranian ambassador in the Syrian capital.

Later, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to respond to Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate.
