“I moved into Russian territory to the city of Moscow, where the unloading was supposed to take place,” he said in a video published by the FSB.

On the morning of April 2, it became known that the FSB, together with customs officers, stopped the import into Russia of foreign-made explosives inside Orthodox icons and church utensils. The cargo followed the route Ukraine - Romania - Hungary - Slovakia - Poland - Lithuania - Latvia - Russia.

27 camouflaged and ready-to-use improvised explosive devices, as well as 70 kg of industrially produced high-power plastic explosive, were recovered from the icons.

According to law enforcement agencies, the explosive mass is enough to blow up a five-story residential building. The suspect has been detained.
