Members of the Bundestag's diets will be paid out late in April. The reason is a typo in the Bundestag administration, according to which the transfers were dated April 28th instead of March 28th. The Bundestag confirmed the transfer error to SPIEGEL. The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported.

According to the Bundestag, "due to an office error, the MP's compensation and the flat-rate allowance could not be paid out on the 1st of the month as usual." The reason is an “incorrect due date”.

“This error occurred despite the dual control principle and was only noticed today,” it continued. The MPs should now receive their salaries and the flat rate allowance by the end of this week.

As the "Bild" newspaper reports, it's about 16,000 euros per MP. However, salaries differ depending on the MP and MP due to subsidies and insurance contributions. The diets should then have been received in the parliamentarians' accounts by April 5th.
