For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned in the strongest terms the occupation army's targeting of workers at the World Central Kitchen Organization south of Deir al-Balah.

The movement said in a statement, "The crime confirms that the occupation still insists on its policy of killing unarmed civilians, international relief teams, and humanitarian organizations, as part of its efforts to terrorize its workers, to prevent them from continuing their humanitarian missions."
