The PNV would win the Basque regional elections on April 21 by achieving between 30 and 31 seats, closely followed by EH Bildu with 28-29, while the PSE would remain as the third force with 10-11 representatives and the PP would obtain between 5 and 6, according to the CIS.

This Monday, the Sociological Research Center released the pre-electoral survey on the Basque elections on April 21, according to which the PNV would once again win the elections to the Basque Parliament, where it currently has 31 seats.

The biggest rise would be for EH Bildu, which would achieve 28-29 seats, compared to the 21 it obtained in the Basque elections four years ago.

The Basque socialists, who have 10 representatives, could achieve between 10 and 11 on April 21 and would remain the third force in the Basque Parliament.

With these results, the PNV and PSE-EE could repeat the government coalition as in the two previous legislatures and have an absolute majority (38).

The Popular Party, which four years ago ran in coalition with Ciudadanos and won 6 seats, would get between 5 and 6 this time, according to the CIS.

The left-wing coalitions at the state level would be harmed by their decision not to compete under a single brand as they did in 2020, when they had a total of 6 seats. Thus, Sumar would now achieve between 0 and 2 representatives and Elkarrekin Podemos between 0 and 1.

In the same way, Vox could also lose its only parliamentarian four years after having gained a presence in the Basque Parliament for the first time in its history since the CIS study predicts that on this occasion it will achieve between 0 and 1 seat.

This CIS study has been made public five days after the latest electoral survey prepared by the Basque Government was released, according to which PNV and EH Bildu would tie at 29 seats, PSE (10) and PP (6) would maintain their representation and Sumar would achieve a representative, while Elkarrekin Podemos-AV and VOX would be left out of the Basque Parliament.
