This statement was made by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS), Major General Yuri Popov.

“In the Golan Heights area, as part of monitoring the situation on the Bravo line of the separation zone between the armed forces of Israel and the Syrian Arab Republic, a Russian military police post will be additionally deployed,” he said.

Popov added that the Russian side monitors compliance with the cessation of hostilities by both sides.

On March 14, another Russian military police post was deployed in the Golan Heights area.
