Agents of the National Police have saved

a two-year-old boy who was in cardiorespiratory arrest in the

Puente de Vallecas neighborhood of Madrid.

According to the National Police this Monday, the events occurred last Friday. After being notified by the Cimacc 091 room, the agents went to a home in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas, where a man had requested help because

his son was drowning

and could not breathe.

The agents began to perform first aid, getting the minor to start breathing. Both the family members and the health services congratulated the agents for their

Upon arriving at the home, the agents observed that the minor, who was with his father, did not respond to stimuli. In addition, they found that

he was unconscious and not breathing

, so they began resuscitation maneuvers.

After several minutes during which the agents applied cardiorespiratory resuscitation techniques to the minor, the child

began to cough and breathe

, and was placed in a lateral safety position. Subsequently, a health worker arrived at the scene, transporting the child to continue providing assistance.

Subsequently, the agents continued to collaborate with the health services, providing all the information about the intervention they had carried out. He was finally transferred to a hospital

After stabilizing the minor, both the health official and the child's father congratulated the agents for the quick action that

. This Monday, the child's relatives went to the Puente de Vallecas National Police station to congratulate the officers and inform them that the minor was already at home in perfect condition.
