This statement was made by the head of the Russian delegation at the negotiations in Vienna on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov.

“...And Western countries perform the functions of headquarters, logistics, supplier of weapons, intelligence data and target designation,” he added in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The diplomat also noted that a hostile attitude towards Russia prevails at the level of the entire bloc and is “reflected in the military planning and militarization” of its member countries.

In addition, during the interview, Gavrilov emphasized that relations between Russia and NATO today are “more than a cold war.”
