This opinion was expressed in an interview with RIA Novosti by the head of the Russian delegation at the negotiations in Vienna on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov.
“An aggressive line towards our country to the limit will lead to the complete degradation of the military-political situation in Europe,” he said.
Gavrilov also said that Russia-NATO relations today can be described as “more than a cold war.”
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov refused to “guess” about a possible clash between Russia and NATO.
