He emphasized that today the situation in Gaza is catastrophic, TASS reports.

“France is convinced that the Security Council must fulfill its obligations under humanitarian resolutions. That is why today France will present a comprehensive draft resolution,” the permanent representative added.

According to him, the draft will touch on “urgent issues”, it will talk about an immediate ceasefire and the release of hostages.

Earlier, the enclave's Ministry of Health reported that the death toll due to Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip had reached 32,782.
