Bastrykin requested a repeat report on the collapse in a mine in the Amur region

This is stated in the department’s Telegam.

It is clarified that in connection with this fact, a criminal case has been opened for violation of safety requirements during work (Article 216 of the Criminal Code of Russia), charges have been brought against the managing director of the mine, who has been taken into custody. In addition, the chief engineer of the mine was detained.

Also, the investigator of the regional department of the Investigative Committee is investigating a criminal case initiated on the grounds of a crime under Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia (negligence), under which two employees of the Amur Rostechnadzor were detained.

Earlier it became known that the rescue operation had been terminated at the Pioneer mine, where 13 miners were trapped as a result of a collapse. They were declared dead, and the families of the miners were promised a year's wages.
