“Now there is a huge choice. We have no problems with tires. First of all, the most popular ones: with a diameter from 13 to 18 and even up to 19 inches. All this is done in Russia,” said Kadakov.

The specialist also advised to pay attention to the production time of tires.

“Every tire has this oval with the date of manufacture. Four numbers. The first two digits are the week, the second two digits are the year. Accordingly, you need to buy tires that are no more than two or three years old. Because tires may not be stored properly, tires will gradually age. And, probably, no one wants to drive on old tires, having given money for them as if they were new,” explained Kadakov.

Speaking about the parameters that novice drivers should pay attention to when choosing when to change tires, RT’s interlocutor advised focusing on the average daily temperature.

“If the long-term forecast for April does not prepare any surprises for us, then in the Central region we can “change our shoes.” But in other regions we need to look at the real weather situation,” the specialist concluded.

Earlier, auto expert Igor Morzharetto said that companies need to provide training on how to comply with traffic rules for couriers.
