These positions came after renewed clashes in several areas of Tulkarm Governorate in the West Bank between resistance fighters and the Palestinian security services. The clashes broke out after the security services attempted to arrest young men in the governorate.

Scenes broadcast by local Palestinian platforms showed armed confrontations between Palestinian resistance and Palestinian security services in the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm. The Qaffin Brigade - Saraya al-Quds warned in a statement that "any attempt to arrest one of its mujahideen from Tulkarm to Jenin will be met with a harsh and frank response."

The statement called on officials in the Authority to stop what it described as acts of futility before the matter deteriorated. It also appealed to the Palestinian people "to stand by the truth and denounce these disastrous actions, because they lead to an internal war from which only Israel and its spies benefit."

For its part, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said in a statement that “its mujahideen are a red line, and whoever tries to harm them will receive a painful response,” and demanded that the security services stop their hands on the resistance and release those detained by them.

Israeli incursions

On the other hand, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Marah Rabah, south of Bethlehem.

The reporter also reported that confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces after they stormed the town of Sa'ir, north of Hebron.
