Dmitry Kuzyakin, General Director of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions (CCBR), spoke about this in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

“One of the first enemy FPV drones that was provided to us had the same battery as those used by the Americans in NASA’s Mars mission,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

Kuzyakin suggested that the first such drones were assembled by Ukrainian troops with the help of American specialists.

He added that these batteries were installed with the expectation that FPV drones would be used in winter at sub-zero temperatures.

Earlier, Kuzyakin said that Russia had created the Joker-10 FPV drone, which explodes when it hits an enemy.
